Business consulting that actually changes your numbers
We sit inside your operations for weeks, not hours. We find the margin leaks, the stalled processes, and the growth you keep putting off. Then we fix them with you.
Book a diagnostic callHow we work
Four weeks from diagnosis to action plan
Most consultancies hand you a PDF and an invoice. We stay until the first results show up in your accounts.
Week one: the diagnostic
We interview your team, read your financials, and map every process from order to delivery. No questionnaires sent by email. We sit in your office, walk your warehouse, and watch the work happen in real time. By Friday you get a one-page summary of the three biggest problems we found.
Week two: root-cause analysis
We dig into the data behind each problem. If your margins are shrinking, we trace every cost line back to its source. If your sales pipeline stalls at proposal stage, we review the last forty proposals and figure out why. Specifics matter more than frameworks here.
Week three: solution design
Together with your leadership team, we build a plan. Each action has an owner, a deadline, and a measurable target. We avoid vague goals like "improve customer satisfaction." Instead: "reduce average complaint resolution from 72 hours to 18 hours by Q3."
Week four and beyond: implementation support
We stay for the first sprint of execution. Weekly check-ins continue for ninety days. If a recommendation fails, we adjust it at no extra charge. Our fee is tied to the plan working, not to the plan existing.
What we do
Consulting services built around real problems
We don't sell packaged programmes. Each engagement starts from your specific situation and ends when the numbers move.
Operational audits
We map your workflows from raw material to invoice. Most firms we audit discover 12–18% of their operating costs come from duplicated steps, unclear handoffs, or outdated supplier terms. We quantify each one and rank them by payback speed.
Growth planning
Where should you invest next year? A second location, a new product line, or a bigger sales team? We model each option against your cash position and market data, then stress-test the assumptions until we find the scenario that survives a bad quarter.
Cost restructuring and margin recovery
Revenue is healthy but profit keeps thinning? We have run margin-recovery projects for manufacturers, logistics firms, and professional services businesses across South Wales and beyond. Typical engagement length is six weeks. Typical margin improvement is four to seven percentage points within the first two quarters. We renegotiate supplier contracts, redesign pricing tiers, and sometimes recommend product lines to drop entirely.
Questions
Things people ask before hiring us
A four-week diagnostic and action plan for a firm with 20–80 employees typically runs between £8,000 and £18,000 depending on complexity. Implementation support is priced separately, usually as a monthly retainer. We quote a fixed price after the initial call, and we don't bill travel expenses within Wales.
Yes. About a third of our clients are based elsewhere in the UK. For those engagements, we spend the first week on-site and handle subsequent phases through a mix of remote sessions and periodic visits. The diagnostic week really does need to be in person, though.
Manufacturing, distribution, and professional services make up most of our work. We have also completed projects in food production, construction, and healthcare supply. We turn down engagements where we lack relevant experience, because guessing is expensive for everyone.
Absolutely. Some clients come to us with a defined problem: a new ERP selection, a pricing overhaul, or a post-acquisition integration. We scope those as standalone projects with their own timelines and deliverables. The diagnostic call helps us figure out which format fits.
We revise them. Our ninety-day check-in period exists precisely for this. If a recommendation needs reworking, we do it within the original engagement fee. We have had to do this on about one in eight projects, and in every case the adjusted plan hit the target within the following quarter.
Let's start with a conversation
A diagnostic call takes about thirty minutes. We'll ask about your revenue, your team size, and the one thing keeping you up at night. No pitch deck, no obligation.
